Installation Guide

SHAH TV for Samsung Tizen

Search the Samsung TV Apps store first. When the app is not listed for your model or region, use the guided Windows installer below.

Option 1 - Install from Samsung Apps

    Open Apps on the TV

    Press Home on the Samsung remote, select Apps, and open the search tool.

    Search for SHAH TV

    Enter the exact app name SHAH TV. Store availability depends on model year, Tizen version, country and rollout status.

    Install when available

    Select SHAH TV, choose Install, and add it to the Home screen if your TV offers that option.

    Sign in once

    Open the app and use your Xtream username/password or SHAH TV 10-digit PIN. A successful login is remembered on the TV.

Alternative installation

Option 2 - Guided Developer Mode Installer

Use a Windows PC when SHAH TV is not available in Samsung Apps. The wizard handles PC-side checks, connection, build, signing, installation and launch, while showing every required TV-side step.

    Download and extract the ZIP

    Extract the complete folder on a Windows PC. Keep all included files together, then run START_SHAH_TV_INSTALLER.bat.

    Prepare Samsung tools

    The wizard detects Tizen CLI, SDB and Samsung Certificate Manager. On a first-time PC it opens Samsung's official setup page and waits while you install the required licensed tools.

    Enable TV Developer Mode

    Open Apps on the TV and press 1 2 3 4 5. Turn Developer Mode ON, enter the PC IP displayed by the wizard, confirm, and restart the TV.

    Enter the TV IP

    Find it under Settings > Network > Network Status > IP Settings. Enter it in the wizard; the PC then connects over the local network.

    Add the TV DUID

    Find the Unique Device ID under Settings/Menu > Support > Contact Samsung. The wizard opens Certificate Manager and shows where to add it.

    Complete Samsung sign-in

    Create or update a Samsung TV certificate profile. Keep the same author certificate for future updates, add the displayed DUID, and make the profile active.

    Select compatibility

    Choose Legacy for the widest 2015+ support, or Modern for Tizen 5.5+ TVs. The wizard validates and signs a fresh WGT for your TV.

    Install and launch

    The wizard permits installation, transfers the signed package, installs SHAH TV and launches it. A dated local log records the result without certificate passwords.

Samsung security requirementSamsung account authorization, license acceptance, TV settings and certificate approval remain manual. The wizard pauses with clear instructions and continues when you press Enter.
